Home Instead Senior Care is a national organisation offering care in the home for people suffering from Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Some of our members will recall that they sponsored one of our open week competitions and were represented at the presentation by Regional Manager Liam Toland and our own Cathal O’Neill, who is Clare Area Manager.
September is National Alzheimer’s and Dementia month and Home Instead Senior Care is conducting a series of workshops during the month to inform the public about services that are available to assist people suffering from Alzheimer’s and Dementia in their own home and their families.
There will be a workshop in the clubhouse of Ennis Golf Club on Friday next the 9th September from 11am to 1pm. The workshop will be conducted by Aodhnaid Lennon, who was a keynote speaker at this year’s national conference for Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
There is an open invitation to this workshop, but it will be of particular interest to families that are caring for a person with Alzheimer’s or Dementia in their own home and admission is free.
